In this series of photographs, I wanted to portray my dear friend Pedro like the sexy man he is. I think it is extremely important for men to embrace their sexuality and for them to allow themselves to be photographed in a sensual way, specially by a woman. In a world where we're overwhelmed by sexualized representations of women in the media, mostly made by men, it's important to observe how women portray men and what they think is sexy about them.
Nessa série de fotos, eu quis retratar meu amigo Pedro como o homem sexy que ele é. Eu acho muito importante que homens abracem sua sexualidade e que eles se permitam ser fotografados de um modo sensual, especialmente por mulheres. Em um mundo onde somos bombardeados com representações sexualizadas de mulheres na mídia, feitas em sua esmagadora maioria por homens, é importante observar como mulheres retratam homens e o que elas consideram sensual nesses homens.
